I recently got my hands on a bottle of whiskey acres bloody butcher, and honestly, it's one of the most interesting spirits I've tasted in a long while. If you aren't familiar with what's going on over in DeKalb, Illinois, you're missing out on a pretty cool story. Most distilleries buy their grain from massive industrial suppliers, which is fine, but the folks at Whiskey Acres are farmers first.
